Dr Gemma Rowland
Clinical psychology for adolescents and adults
radlett, St Albans, and online across the uk
If you or your child are experiencing anxiety, low mood, trauma, other emotional difficulties, or are seeking support with challenges related to ADHD or autism, therapy can provide a safe space to understand what is happening and find a way forward.

Together, we’ll make sense of how your experiences and thinking styles may be impacting on how you feel, and work towards clearer understanding, practical coping strategies and meaningful change.
Hello, I'm Gemma, a Clinical Psychologist based in South Hertfordshire, offering therapy in Radlett, St Albans and online across the UK.
You might feel stuck, unsure why you feel the way you do, or find it hard to cope with day-to-day life.
I offer a calm, non-judgemental space to explore these difficulties, drawing on over 15 year’s experience supporting adolescents and adults with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
Why Work With Me?
• Over 15 years' experience across NHS, third sector and private practice settings
• Extensive CAMHS experience supporting children and teenagers with complex mental health needs
• Clinical Lead within a specialist Autism and ADHD assessment service
• Particular expertise in working with adolescents, and neurodivergent individuals
• Warm, compassionate and down-to-earth approach
• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and HCPC registration
• Face-to-face therapy in calm surroundings in Radlett or St Albans.
Every person I work with is different, so rather than following a fixed formula, I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, and shape therapy around what helps you as an individual.

• Anxiety and panic
• Depression and low mood
• OCD
• Trauma and PTSD
• Challenges relating to Autism and ADHD (including post-diagnostic support)
• School avoidance (EBSA)

• Relationship difficulties
• Parenting support
• Stress and burnout
• Self-harm
Taking the First Step:
Seeking support can feel daunting, particularly when concerns feel urgent or overwhelming, but you don’t have to work things out alone. I offer a free 10-minute telephone consultation to discuss your concerns, answer any questions, and help you decide whether I'm the right therapist for you or your child.
You can email me on hello@gemmarowlandpsychology.com to arrange a time to speak.
